Payment and financial assistance

Payment

You will be asked to pay for your visit at the start of your visit, whether that's your insurance copayment, co-insurance, or the all-inclusive flat rate if you have a high-deductible plan or aren't using insurance.

MoGo accepts cash, and credit and debit cards.

MoGo does not accept personal checks at the time of service.

Financial assistance

If you don’t have enough health insurance to cover the services you need, or you have no health insurance and you meet certain low and moderate income requirements, you may qualify for MoGo Urgent Care’s Sponsored Care or discount payment programs. These programs may cover all or part of the cost of services provided by MoGo Urgent Care.

If you cannot pay upfront for your visit, please talk with a MoGo staff member about applying for either program. We will be happy to talk with you about the application process in advance of your visit, as well; in some cases, your visit may be deferred until a decision is reached on your application.

Sponsored care
This program provides free care at MoGo for those who qualify. To qualify, your gross family income must not be higher than 250 percent of the federal poverty level.

Discount payment program
This program provides a discount of up to 71 percent off the MoGo flat fee of $250 for those who qualify. To qualify, your gross family income must not be higher than 350 percent of the federal poverty level.

Applying for assistance
Please ask any MoGo staff member for an application for either financial assistance program. You must also submit three months of recent pay stubs or the prior year's tax return to verify your own and your family members' income. You must also provide information and documentation about the value of your monetary assets and any health benefits coverage you have.

Download an application below or call (831) 625-4922 to request that a free copy of the application be mailed to you, or you can obtain a copy in person by visiting Patient Business Services at 40 Ryan Court, Suite 100, Monterey, CA 93940.
